Becoming a real estate agent can be a very financially rewarding and personally satisfying career, but it won’t happen overnight or without devotion and perseverance. Top real estate agents work very hard and are dedicated to constantly improving themselves and their business.
If you are ready to dive into the world of real estate, there are steps that must be followed to receive your real estate license in Georgia.
Before you begin, make sure that you meet the basic requirements. To obtain a REAL ESTATE SALEPERSON’S LICENSE from the (Georgia Real Estate Commission https://ata.grec.state.ga.us/ (GREC) a person must:
*Must be at least 18 years of age. Applicants may take the salesperson's examination at age 17, but cannot activate the license until they are 18
*Have a high school diploma or GED equivalent
*Be a citizen resident or have alien resident status
*To get a salesperson license in Georgia, you must successfully complete the required 75-hour Salesperson Pre-License Course at a school approved by the Georgia Real Estate Commission
